Congratulations, Daddy!

Yesterday Daddy graduated from Red Rocks Community College. Mama and I are very proud of him.

Baseball

After dinner, we went to the park near the baseball fields. I played with the kids on the playground, rode all the spring animals and vehicles twice, and then wanted to go for a walk with Daddy. On that walk, I found a baseball. Daddy knew which of the teams had practiced with those balls and took me with him to talk to the coach of that team.

When the coach indicated that I could keep the ball if I wanted it, I clutched it to my chest. So home it came.

Daddy and I began rolling the ball across the table so I could practice catching it. He was impressed that I caught them all. A little video is below, showing our game. Mama came over later and I sat on Daddy's lap and she played catch with us.


In other news, I have been able to open Mama and Daddy's bedroom door all by myself. I let myself out onto the patio and watched Daddy load things into his car. My language skills continue to improve, and yesterday I sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to Daddy.

So Silly

I like bubble baths, but got very silly when wearing the bubbles on my head (Mama's fault for putting them up there)

Now this one was all me. I was cruising around in the diaper and decided that I needed to wear my shoes. So I put them on like the big boy I am sometimes. Then I made funny faces when Mama was taking a picture.

We went to the Zoo

The lions were sleeping. The female lion rolled over and went right back to sleep.

This little antelope is called a Dik-dik and Mama took its picture because of its amazingly mobile nose.


I saw giraffes. I know the sign for giraffe, even though I can't say the word very well yet.



Mama says this polar bear probably had surgery on the back leg a while ago.


I fell and hit my head on the carousel, and Nicole tried to soothe me.

I haven't mastered pronouncing "Grandpa" yet, so I call him "Boppa" for now.
