The good life!
Hanging out in the clothes basket, eating strawberries and yogurt. YUM!

I want my DADDY!
Because Daddy has not been feeling well, he has not been able to interact with me very much. This morning he was able to move around a little, and all I wanted was him. He helped me with getting undressed and getting my potty chore done. I didn't really want anything to do with Mama at all.
So I was definitely a Daddy's boy this morning.
Because every post should have a picture, here is one from last month of my sleeping on the floor like Daddy.

Pictures of Christmas (most recently) Past
Our little tree with all the presents. (Santa doesn't have time to wrap his presents--a tradition from Daddy's family.)

The train set up!

I thought pushing Thomas was fun!

I got a whole bunch of Thomas videos!

Santa brought me some construction toys--a digger, a dump truck, and a front end loader.

One of Mama's students got an emergency rescue set for me. The helicopter has a siren on it and I like pushing the button to hear the sound.

I got a tee shirt with Thomas on it!

I got some "big boy" underwear since I don't wear diapers during the day any more.

Hope you had a great Christmas as well!

Conversations in a bathroom
"I don't want to go potty."
"Pull your pants down."
"No!"
"Are you going to pull down your pants or is Mama going to do it?"
"NO!" I throw myself to the ground.
"Either you will pull down your pants or Mama will do it."
"Why?"
"Because you need to go potty."
"My do it!"
"Then do it." pause "One."
"NOOOOOO!"
"Two."
I start pulling at the top of my pants while lying on the floor.
"Want to stand up?"
"Yes."
Mama extends her hand to me.
I stand.
I pull my pants down and get on the toilet and go.

Just another day
Sunday was chilly, but no cold enough to keep me away from my bike when Mama offered to let me ride. For a while, I just rode in front of our apartment, in the courtyard.

Eventually I rode my bike up a hill, and then over to the playground. I went to the big person swings first, but I'm too short to sit down on these without help. So I belly swung for a while.

Mama put me on the swing the "right way" and I had a good couple of minutes.

There's a tunnel to crawl through (I wouldn't look at Mama)

Now I'll look at Mama!

I was honing my monkey boy skills in climbing up this rather high bar to get to the slide

Sliding like a big boy--and still dry!

Ghost Boy
I was displeased with my parents on Friday night. While I was driving Oma and Ompa crazy, they decided that I needed to be house broken. Mama also decided that this weekend would be the ideal time to start since she and Daddy are out of school for a while.
After going through all but one of my pairs of underwear, and having to clean my poop-paint masterpieces off the walls of my room, they gave me a diaper for bedtime. I repaid this by getting a nearly full tube of Aveno diaper rash cream. I smeared it on my face, my bed, my sleeper and really gave my hair a great new "do" before I began making noise and Mama came up to check on me.
She found me standing at the gate in all my ghostly make-up glory. Unfortunately, once she got the camera, I ran away, and then fell into buckets of tears because *I* wanted to take pictures. For some reason, Mama kept telling me "NO" so I got really mad at her.

(Mama in--regular bathing soap doesn't touch this stuff. We were able to wipe off the skin, but the hair remained one fairly solid clump. Water slid right off like his head was a freshly waxed car. I finally resorted to some Gojo mechanic's hand cleaner which finally broke up the mass. Regular washing with baby soap took out the Gojo. What a mess!)
