I was pretty fascinated by this leaf at Antema's house.

It didn't taste very good, though.

Here's Pardner playing with what's left of a trash can lid. At the very end, you can see him take a bite out of the lawn. Mama's friend Megan thinks it might be a Border Collie thing...as some of hers do that as well. (Pardner's other half is Corgi)

Other news with me is that I apparently have grown again and my 2T shirts are not fitting well and the sleepers not at all. So in height I'm moving to 3T now. I still wear between 12-18 month in bottoms because I have trouble keeping them up if they are any larger around the middle. I'm also outgrowing my size 6 shoes.

I am tall enough to reach most of the light switches in the house, and if my parents set the baby gate high enough that I can't reach over and unlock myself, I can slide underneath and get out that way. So now they are trying a double-decker gate system which has worked so far, although I am NOT happy about it.

Mama got some new pictures and video of me at a different park today, but she needs Daddy's help to get them off her phone. So it may be a while.

Here are a few more pictures taken at Antema and Bapa's house:

ME DO IT!

I was adamant that I needed to put on my shirt myself, with no helping hands. When I was eating breakfast, one arm was still coming out the bottom of the shirt, so it looked a bit like a "toga." Then I got my other arm out the hole for my head and wore my shirt like this.

Mama did eventually get it placed correctly, but I was not about to let her help in the beginning.

Today's milestone

I had a successful pottying while standing up! TWICE!

Thursday's milestone

I caught a ball consistently when Daddy tossed it to me. Mama doesn't have video of it to post yet.

On the other hand, I've also been perfecting my two year old temper tantrums. I'm quite good at them now, and will fly into them at the littlest thing.

Bicycle!

This little bike was on sale at KMart. Daddy put it together while I fought about taking a nap. When they gave up and let me at it, I took it for a spin.

This is in the common area between the sets of apartment buildings.

I have a horn on my bike! I like it very much and Mama figures that she will know where I am because it's fairly loud. This is near the playground.

Mama says to turn off the sound on this one because she is talking a lot.

So that is the newest bit of excitement in my life. I really like my bike!

Recycled cycles

We headed out to Recycled cycles to try some little bikes. I keep eyeing (and sometimes attempting to borrow) bikes of neighborhood kids. The owners of the bikes are not terribly understanding of my envy.

Daddy called this my Elton John look.

I tried a couple of little bikes, but all they had available were girls bikes. However, I tried all of the ones set up out. (Yes, they brought my helmet and had me wear it.)

Look at that smile!

However, the parents were not going to buy me a girls bike (or pay that much for a bike) so I had to leave empty handed.

My ears got lowered

Before

After

OK, so I didn't really need a haircut, but the hair in front was starting to grow into my eyes. So while Mama had the clippers out, she trimmed me.

Even through I wouldn't sit still, I didn't scream like I did at Dean's Barber Shop. So I may have non-professional clips for a while.
