Thanksgiving 2014
It was a long day, but relatively laid back all the way around for the long weekend.
I wore my Thing 4 shirt this year, and made silly faces!
Derp face
Mama had to get new glasses (emergency purchase), but she helped make silly faces too.
Daddy and I look handsome together!

Bartel's Farm field trip
We took a field trip to the pumpkin farm
We wore our TPAAK shirts so we were easy to spot. Here we are posing with silly faces by the wagon loaded with pumpkins with our teacher, Mrs. Van Horn.
Her superpower is teaching kindergarten!
We took a hayride pulled by a big tractor
We passed an old pickup that had been turned into farm equipment
Here's a look at the corn maze and the mountains. It was kind of hazy, so things are not so bright.
Off through the corn maze
At long last, we were able to go pick a pumpkin from the fields. Mine got to be too heavy for me, and I was tired, so I picked a gourd instead of a regular pumpkin. My classmate Ethan, who was riding in our car, carried a huge pumpkin almost all the way back to the parking lot when it dropped and cracked open. He picked a small pumpkin to actually go to the car.
Llama Llama Red Pajama!
For my class at school, I am supposed to pick a book character and wear that costume to class on Friday. Mama was not going to make multiple costumes, and she came up with an idea for me to be Llama Llama. She was going to try for the school look in the book she just purchased for me (Llama Llama and the Bully Goat. But she couldn't find the overalls.
So we went with the red pajamas from Llama Llama Red Pajamas instead. Mama took a hat and sewed it into a "llama top" for me.
We went to the Halloween carnival held at Mama's work (Front Range Community College) where I added pumpkin face paint to my look.
I played some of the games
I ate some cotton candy
In general I had a good time and ate too many sweets!

There was a partial eclipse of the sun visible in Colorado on Thursday afternoon, so Mama took me to the observatory at her work so I could see it.
They had a special telescope set up that would protect our eyes
Unfortunately the clouds were not cooperative and by the time we arrived, you could not see the sun.
So I played on the bike racks instead!

Tooth fairy time!
Two weeks ago I lost my first tooth. The tooth fairy visited and brought me a quarter. Now I keep checking for more loose teeth!

First day of kindergarten!
Yesterday was a big day for me. I got up and dressed for school, having to add a belt because my pants wouldn't stay up. There is a dress code, and Mama did take some pictures. I ate all my snacks and lunch. I had my first drama class, and my teacher was impressed that I was able to copy words from the board.
When I got done with school I got to play on the iPad for a little while. I love playing on the iPad.
We went to dinner at Culver's, and I ate all my fries and about half of my burger. While we were there we ran into my friend, Cooper!
Then we went to bowling, where a local radio station puts on "The Big LeBOWLski" and gives away prizes in a drawing. I won a tee shirt. I can't wear the tee shirt to school, but I was happy anyway.
I had a really busy, but really fun, day!

Birthdays and graduation
I celebrated my birthday at Antema's house, and the candles on my cake kept re-lighting themselves!
Then I graduated from pre-school. When asked what I was going to be when I grew up, I answered "an adult."
Then I had a small party for my friends in Fort Collins at our new house. We put a balloon on one of the cars to help the parents find it.
Mama couldn't find the candles, so I had to blow out imaginary candles on this cake. I got them all on the first try!
(Mama is really behind on everything, not just posting to the blog. It's on her list of things to do. It's a long list.)

Oma and cookies
Oma got me dinosaur cookie cutters, and a couple of weeks ago we broke them in when Mama and I visited.
Licking the beater
Putting the cookies on the tray
They're pretty fragile
Mama decorated most of them
But I got in on the action, too!
Oma waits for the last tray to come out. Mama forgot to take pictures of the final product, but they were delicious!
