February 25 - The big move

Mama and Daddy are having discussions about this thing they have dubbed "the big move." I guess that we will have a different home--one with a room for me after my arrival--this weekend. But it's not somehting that they enjoy--and it does sound like a lot of work.

Mama says that we are "overstuffed"--whatever that means--and that it is mostly her fault. But we will be closer to one of her jobs once we move, and that can be a good thing.

February 17--The diapering dilemma

Mama found some websites that offer cloth diapers, and the idea kind of intrigues her. Especially since some of them are made right here in Colorado! The two she has visited most often are:

http://denverdiaperco.com/

http://livingearthbabies.com/

The ones that currently intrigue her the most are the ones on the second website, all the way on the far right. They are made by Rocky Mountain Diapers, and seem like they would be easy to use and keep me pretty dry. The problem is that they are expensive.

I guess we are going to a demonstration that will be put on by the lady who owns the first website, and will see what she finds out on Saturday.

February 17 - More Loot!

I guess this commentary is going to start below the picture. It's fine with me but Mama gets a little frustrated with the computer. These were sent by her friend from Wisconsin, who she thinks I can call "Aunt Psych." I'm not sure why that makes her laugh, but maybe when I'm older I'll understand why Psych was Cy's nickname at the summer camp where they both worked.

This is a close-up of the little footed outfit with the big frog.

I've just been doing my thing--hanging out and kicking Mama when I am in the mood. Normally this happens when she tries to go to sleep at night. Practice for later, she's been told!

February 2 - Belated photos

Okay, Mama finally got around to taking some pictures of my loot:

They are out of order because the cut and paste thingy isn't working. Ah, computer problems.

Lots and lots of clothes for me

The picture frame that already has my name on it.

Frogs for Daddy

One for Grandpa

Florida State University outfit

Romulus was checking out the outfit that Mama couldn't resist, especially the teddy bear feet. Bad Mama!

Some bigger clothes, including my very first "hoodie" and some classic Pooh stuff.

Mama has finally figured out that she is craving grape juice. She likes grape juice, but can't seem to get enough to keep up with me. I'm also making her want really ripe strawberries--which she tells me are out of season--whatever that means. She did find some strawberries on sale last night, so we'll see how well she picks them, as this is not something she normally eats very often. I also like oranges, so Mama figures that I will like fruit.
She still won't eat bananas, so I'll have to wait before I taste those.
